The Boston Neighborhood Project

I arrived to Cambridge (and to the US) less than one year ago. It was cold, and I was far away from home. I didn’t like the place at first, but then, gradually, things have changed.

Day by day, season by season. And not only outside.

The spring comes, and the spring goes.

So, I have tried to discover the soul of this new place I am living in. And I have found out it can’t be catch in a word. When you are sure to have finally understood how Cambridge is, then something you see or experience makes you change your idea. Cambridge urban area is full of contrasts, of places that are so different one from the other that they not even seem to belong to the same neighbourhood.

This makes this place so alive and vibrant.
