Workshop Information and Guidelines? The Details!

ONE PHOTOGRAPHER SHOOTS AT A TIME in the studio, multiple cameras clicking is too distracting for the models and the photographer. I must deliver what I advertise, which is one-on-one shooting.

If you want to converse with another attendee, please do so quietly away from the shooting area. I do not want distractions for the model while she is working with the photographer of the moment. I?d like to keep this a professional environment for best results.

Please be very familiar with how your camera functions. Read your camera and flash manuals and know how all of the buttons and features work. Know your camera's flash sync speed! Practice before you come to the workshop. It will be best if you know and understand your camera. There really will be no time to trouble shoot camera specific questions.

Digital shooters - I recommend that you preview your first image only per set or location on the LCD. After that I suggest that you turn off the preview function and just shoot like you were using film. Why waste shooting time previewing all your shots when you can do that after your rotation? It's up to you how you want to use your time. When we change the lighting/setup you can check your first image again. You are welcome to come in a little early to custom white balance your camera. It?s best if you know how to read your histograms, relying on your LCD to evaluate exposures is not a good idea. Oh yeah, NO VIDEO permitted.

You will be shooting with very experienced professional models, and they don't need much directing if any. Over-directing a top professional model is like telling your mechanic how to do his job. You can give them some direction if need be, just don't over-do it. The models want you to get your best shot.

Payments: Can be made by check, money order, or cash and need to be received by October 25th, 2006. Checks should be made out to Scott Erb. Payments will not be accepted at the workshop.

Cancellations: If you choose to cancel after you have paid for a workshop, you will get a refund IF and ONLY if I can re-sell your seat. If you pull a ?no-show?, you?ll get no refund, we still need to pay the models. If I have to cancel the workshop, everyone will get a full refund.
